A student of Islamic University (IU) was killed in a road accident in Chourhash area in Kushtia. The deceased was Monir Hossain, hailed from Kumarkhali upazila of the district. He was a student of Arabic Language and Literature Department under 2022-23 academic session. Local sources said the accident occurred when a bus hit his CNG-run autorickshaw around 5 pm while he was returning home from university, leaving him critically injured.
