Bangladesh Bank (BB) has handed over Taka 23 crore to the Chief Adviser’s Relief and Welfare Fund to help the victims of flood.
This contribution included one day’s salary from each of the central bank’s officers and employees amounting to Taka 1 crore, said a BB release today.
Rest of Taka 22 crore has been donated from the central bank’s disaster management and social responsibility fund, the release added.
