football team for becoming maiden champions in the SAFF U-20 Championship.
Bangladesh beat host Nepal by 4-1 goals in the final of SAFF U-20
Championship held at Lalitpur, Nepal on Wednesday.
In a message today, the Youth and Sports Adviser expressed his satisfaction
with such great success of Bangladesh U-20 football team.
He said: “Success in the sports arena will act as an inspiration to move the
country forward. If freed from the clutches of corruption, success in any
field will come on a larger scale. Winning the SAFF U-20 championship title
will see a positive reflection on football in the country.”
He also hoped that this winning streak would continue at all levels of the
sports arena in the future.
