Kathmandu: An earthquake measuring 4.2 Richter scale was recorded with its epicentre around Ankhop of Taplejung this afternoon.
The National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre, Lainchaur has confirmed the tremor that occurred at 4:04pm today.
Earlier, a tremor of 4.1 Richter scale had occurred with its epicentre near Khejenim of same district on July 28.
