Two adolescent girls drowned in the Chhamghat rivulet at Mahabu rural municipality-3 of Dailekh district.
Those losing lives in the accident are Bhawana Budha, 14; and Sapana Kumari Budha, 16, according to Bir Bahadur Oli, spokesperson at Karnali Province Police Office.
They drowned in the rivulet while swimming.
