A girl died in a wall collapse near Thai monastery at Dakshinkali, Kathmandu.
Five others trapped in the incident were however rescued safely. According to Dinesh Raj Mainali, Spokesperson of Kathmandu Valley Police Office, six people were trapped when the wall collapsed at 4:00 pm Friday.
Although the girl was rushed to hospital after rescue, she breathed her last during the treatment. The deceased has not been identified.
After getting information about the incident, a team led by a police inspector from Pharping Police reached the site and conducted rescue works where locals also joined.
The police said that all the injured ones have been receiving treatment at Vayodha Hospital, Balkhu. It is said all those who were trapped in the incident are children living in the Thai monastery of Dakshinkali
