Swapnabhumi Senior Services Kabaddi League begins
from tomorrow (Sunday) at Kabaddi stadium in the city.
Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Director General (DG) Major General Mohammad
Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui is expected to inaugurate the league as the chief
guest at 4 pm, a press release said here today.
On the occasion, Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner and Bangladesh
Kabaddi Federation (BKF) General Secretary Habibur Rahman, Managing Director
(MD) of Swapnabhumi Properties Limited M Milon Hasan will present as special
guests.
BKF Joint Secretary and Additional DIG (development) of Bangladesh Police
Gazi Md. Mozammel Haque will preside over the opening ceremony.
A total of nine teams will take part in the league and organised by the BKF.
The participating teams are Bangladesh Navy, Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh
Police, Bangladesh Air Force, Border Guard Bangladesh, Bangladesh Ansar and
VDP, Fire Service and Civil Defense, Dhaka Metropolitan Police and Bangladesh
Jail.
