Chattogram district police detained a youth with 172 bottles of foreign-made liquor from Sitakunda sadar thana area at 11pm last night.
Officer-in-charge of Sitakunda thana Kamal Uddin said police detained one Md Abdullah, 26, while unloading the 172 bottles of foreign liquor from a Pickup van at the said area.
The detained with the liquor was handed over before the court this morning.
A pickup van was also seized during the drive. A case was filed with Sitakunda Thana against him in this regard.
