Kathmandu: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has decided to restructure the statute of its parliamentary party.
Discussion was held to restructure the statute of RSP Parliamentary Party during the meeting of the Parliamentary Party held at its central office, Banasthali, on Monday, said Chief Whip Santosh Pariyar.
“We had already prepared the draft of parliamentary party statute. We held discussion regarding the statute as it has to be restructured after Jaleshwor meeting”, he shared.
The meeting held discussion on the issue of making the parliament and parliamentary committees more functional in coming session, he mentioned.
Pariyar underscored that it was discussed that the party should raise national issues follow study and research.
Similarly, Whip Nisha Dangi mentioned discussion was held on whether the party had shortcomings in addressing and resolving the issues raised about people’s concern and public importance, and what types of issues to be raised in coming days if it had to be corrected.
