A seminar on ‘Brain Death Declaration’ was held at Popular Medical College Hospital in the city this afternoon.
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Popular Pharmaceuticals Limited Dr Mostafizur Rahman, also the founder of Popular Group, was present as the chief guest, a press release said.
Assistant Professor of National Institute of Neurosciences and Hospital Dr. Uzzwal Kumar Mallick presented main article in the seminar, the release added.
In the seminar, the speakers discussed about the principles of “Brain Death Declaration” and ‘Organ Donation’.
Country’s noted doctors including Dr Firoz Ahmed Quraishi, Professor Dr Khan Abul Kalam Azad, Professor Dr Quazi Tarikul Islam, Professor Dr Sader Hossain (neurosurgeon), Director of Popular Medical College Hospital Professor Dr Sarfuzzaman (Rubel) and Assistant Directors of Popular Medical College Hospital Dr Mohammed Ishtiaq Sazzadur Rahman and Dr Arif Emran Mohammad Wasim Reza also attended it as special guests, among others.
