Dhaka: The operation of the National Emergency Service 999 may be temporarily disrupted for 30 minutes from 00:15 to 00:45 on January 31 due to technical maintenance. The Police Headquarters confirmed this in a short message yesterday evening.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the announcement was made to alert the public about the potential service interruption. Authorities have advised citizens to remain calm and seek alternative methods of contacting emergency services during the specified period if necessary. The maintenance is part of ongoing efforts to improve the efficiency and reliability of the 999 emergency response system.
