9.6% Growth in Remittance Inflow Till Mid-October

Dhaka: Inflow of remittances has shown a significant year-on-year growth of 9.6 percent, reaching a total of US$1,435 million in the first 15 days of October, as revealed by the latest data from Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued today. This represents a notable increase from the previous year when the remittance inflow was recorded at $1,310 million during the same period.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the cumulative remittance inflow from July to October 15, 2025, in the current fiscal year stands at $9,021 million. This marks a substantial rise compared to the $7,853 million recorded during the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year. The data underscores a positive trend in the remittance flow, reflecting the continued contribution of expatriates to the country’s economy.
