Dhaka: A total of 88 people were arrested in separate special and regular operations conducted by the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) in Motijheel Division on Tuesday for their alleged involvement in various crimes.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, of the 88 arrested individuals, 67 were apprehended in different areas of Motijheel Division. This includes 2 in Motijheel, 13 in Paltan, 4 in Sabujbagh, 23 in Khilgaon, 3 in Rampura, 10 in Shahjahanpur, and 12 in Mugda.
In separate operations, Motijheel Police successfully arrested 8 individuals, while Mugda Police detained 13. The detainees comprised regular and warrant-listed accused as well as individuals allegedly involved in various offences.
All arrested individuals were subsequently sent to court for further proceedings.
