Noakhali: Seven brokers were sentenced to various terms of imprisonment through a mobile court as RAB arrested them from 250-bed Noakhali General Hospital today. The arrested individuals are Milan, 35, Ratan, 38, Harun, 35, Sajib, 25, Swapan, 44, Masud, 45, and Akram Hossain, 25.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the RAB team conducted the operation based on complaints that patients seeking treatment at the hospital had been adversely affected by the activities of brokers for an extended period. The actions of these brokers had reportedly caused significant distress to those in need of medical services.
RAB Company Commander Mithun Kumar Kundu stated that similar operations would continue in the future to protect the interests of patients and ensure they receive the medical services they require without interference.
