Dhaka:The 6th Gulshan Club Olympiad 2026, an inter-club sports carnival, is scheduled to take place from November 26 to December 5.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Olympiad, which began in 2019, has been a platform for bringing together distinguished social clubs and talented athletes from across the country, promoting sportsmanship, camaraderie, and healthy competition.
The event is more than just a sporting competition; it also aims to inspire young people to engage in sports while fostering discipline, leadership, friendship, and mutual respect. This year's Olympiad is anticipated to be the largest yet, featuring a wide array of sporting disciplines such as cricket, football, squash, badminton, golf, table tennis, basketball, snooker, pool, chess, arm wrestling, and quiz competitions.
The opening ceremony is set for November 26 at the Gulshan Club premises, with various sporting events scheduled throughout the duration of the Olympiad, culminating in the closing ceremony on December 5.
