Dhaka: Sixty-eight Madrasha students, who secured top scores in the Fazil and Kamil exam-2022 under Islamic Arabic University (IAU), have been selected for scholarships.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, of the total 68 scholarship recipients, 16 will be awarded through the talent pool, while the remaining 52 students will receive general scholarships. This announcement was made by the IAU Training and Research Centre Dean, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Ali Ullah, through a notification issued on June 26.
The notification further elaborated that scholarship recipients can collect their scholarship funds either personally or through representatives from the center. To facilitate the collection process, students are required to submit a recent passport-sized photo, a photocopy of their registration card, and an attested copy of their NID card.
Talent pool scholarship holders will receive a one-time payment of Taka 15,000, whereas general scholarship holders will be granted Taka 10,000.
