64 Arrested in Tejgaon for Alleged Criminal Activities

Dhaka: In a series of coordinated drives, the Tejgaon Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested 64 individuals over the past 24 hours for their alleged involvement in various criminal activities. According to police sources, the operation was conducted today as part of routine efforts to maintain law and order in the capital.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the arrested individuals include Md. Mithun (19), Azizul Hakim (50), Md. Omar Faruk (39), Md. Khalil Mondol (21), Md. Kawsar (22), Rahima Akter (39), Md. Shahid Molla (52), Siddik Hawlader (55), Sujan Miji (30), Md. Ruman Khan (25), and 54 others.



Law enforcement officials stated that all suspects were apprehended during regular drives conducted across different areas under the Tejgaon Division. Police further confirmed that legal proceedings against the arrested individuals are currently underway.



Authorities emphasized that such drives will continue as part of ongoing efforts to curb crime and ensure a stable law and order situation in the capital.
