Dhaka: Police arrested 64 people in separate special operations in Paltan and Tejgaon areas of the capital over the past 24 hours. Of them, 13 were arrested by Paltan Police during a day-long drive targeting individuals allegedly involved in various crimes, while 51 were arrested by Tejgaon Division police in operations conducted across several crime-prone areas.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, in Tejgaon Division, the arrests included 19 from Mohammadpur, 14 from Hatirjheel, seven from Adabor, six from Tejgaon Industrial Area, three from Tejgaon, and two from Sher-e-Bangla Nagar. Police have stated that legal proceedings have been initiated against the arrested individuals.
