63 More Hospitalised with Dengue Across the Country

Dhaka: A total of 63 more people were hospitalised with dengue across the country in the last 24 hours, with no deaths reported during the period. The information was disclosed in a dengue-related press release issued today by the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, among the newly hospitalised patients, six were from Barishal, 18 from Chattogram, 16 from Dhaka, three from Mymensingh, and six from Rajshahi divisions, all outside city corporations. Additionally, eight were admitted in Dhaka North City Corporation and six in Dhaka South City Corporation.



During the same period, 71 dengue patients were discharged from hospitals. With this, a total of 268 patients have been discharged so far this year. So far this year, 139 people have been infected with dengue.
