Dhaka: A total of 587 students out of 589 from 12 cadet colleges in Bangladesh scored GPA-5 in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations this year.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, this remarkable achievement was highlighted in a release issued by the Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR).

The release stated that students from all 12 cadet colleges achieved a 100 percent pass rate, with 99.66 percent of candidates obtaining the highest grade. This performance mirrors the success of the previous year, where the same percentage of students achieved GPA-5.

Bangladesh’s cadet colleges, which are residential institutions managed under the supervision of the Adjutant General of the Bangladesh Army and the chairman of the cadet college governing body, aim not only for academic excellence but also for the overall development of their students. The release emphasized that the colleges focus on molding cadets into smart and good citizens by giving equal importance to moral character development and extracurricular activities.

The release attributed the success to the well-disciplined environment, perseverance, regular study habits of the cadets, and the sincere efforts of the college authorities. These elements collectively contributed to the outstanding results achieved by the cadet colleges.
