Narsingdi:A remarkable achievement has been recorded at Abdul Kadir Mollah City College in Narsingdi, where 561 students have secured a GPA-5 in the recent Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations. The college has reported a pass rate of 99.94 percent.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the results published by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka, revealed that 1,551 out of 1,552 examinees from the college passed the examinations. Unfortunately, one student was unable to complete the examination due to illness, resulting in the sole failure.
The college's Business Studies and Humanities groups both achieved a perfect 100 percent pass rate, with all 180 and 311 candidates passing, respectively. In the Science group, 1,057 out of 1,058 candidates were successful.
Breaking down the students who achieved GPA-5, 394 were from the Science group, 69 were from Business Studies, and 98 were from the Humanities group. To achieve these results, College Principal Herem Ullah Ahsan stated that the institution implemented various initiatives such as regular classes, special sessions, home visits, tutorials, monthly tests, and continuous monitoring by guide teachers.
The success has been attributed to the direct guidance of Chairman Abdul Kadir Mollah, who expressed his gratitude to Almighty Allah and dedicated the achievement to the people of Narsingdi.
