Chattogram: In the past 24 hours, 50 new cases of dengue have been reported in Chattogram district, confirmed by Chattogram Civil Surgeon Dr. Jahangir Alam on Saturday afternoon.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, this year, a total of 2,633 people have been hospitalized for dengue in Chattogram, with 20 fatalities reported. The Chattogram Civil Surgeon's office has been monitoring the situation closely.
Currently, 32 dengue patients are undergoing treatment in different hospitals in the city, as mentioned by District Civil Surgeon Dr. Jahangir Alam. Health officials are urging residents to take preventive measures to control the spread of the disease.
