4 Arrested for Hatching Conspiracy in Jamalpur

Jamalpur: Police in a day-long drive arrested four persons for hatching conspiracies to destabilize the present government in the district yesterday. The arrested individuals hold various positions within local political organizations.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the arrested persons include Vice-president of the ward Swechasebak League, Md Ismail Hossain, aged 53, from the village South Gabergram in Madarganj Upazila. Also arrested was Md Manohar, 50, Vice-president of the Union Swechasebak League from the village Ruknai in Melandah Upazila. Additionally, Md Motiur Rahman Moti, 55, Vice-president of the ward Awami League from Chandrabaj Madhyapara in Bakshiganj Upazila, and Md Abdul Malek, 50, Vice-president of the Upazila Awami League from Malir Char Nayapara in Bakshiganj Upazila, were apprehended.



Inspector, Police Control Room, Md Golam Sarwar stated that the arrested persons were accused in various criminal cases with Madarganj, Melandah, and Bakshiganj Police Stations. Police have indicated that operations will continue to prevent such incidents in the future.
