Barishal: A total of 375 dengue patients were hospitalized across the country in the last 24 hours till this morning.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during this period, 121 patients were hospitalized in the Barishal division, while 33 were admitted in Chattogram. The Dhaka division saw 67 hospitalizations, with 28 in Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) and 39 in Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC). Additionally, three patients were hospitalized in Mymensingh, 55 in Rajshahi, and three in different hospitals in the Rangpur division, as reported by a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The total number of dengue cases has risen to 15,585 this year, with 58 deaths attributed to the mosquito-borne disease. In the past 24 hours, 348 patients were discharged from various hospitals across the country. Last year, there were a total of 101,214 cases, with 575 deaths reported from dengue, the report added.
