36 Suspected Criminals Arrested in Dhaka Police Operation

Dhaka: A total of 36 suspected criminals involved in various criminal activities were arrested during special drives conducted by the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) from the city’s Jatrabari and Mugda areas.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the arrests were made during targeted operations by the DMP. The suspects were apprehended in crime-prone areas under the jurisdictions of the Jatrabari and Mugda Police Stations. The DMP’s media division issued a press release stating that the Jatrabari Police Station led a special operation on Sunday, resulting in the arrest of 24 individuals. Meanwhile, Mugda Police Station apprehended 12 suspects within its area.

The press release also noted that those arrested have been presented before the court. Among those detained by Jatrabari Police Station were individuals identified as Md Al Amin, Md Mohsin Mia, Md Milan Mia, and several others. Similarly, Mugda Police Station detained suspects including Sohan, Rahat, Russell, and nine others.

These operations are part of the DMP’s ongoing efforts to combat criminal activities in key areas of the city, ensuring heightened safety and security for the residents.
