Satkhira: A total of 3,500 small and marginal farmers in Sadar upazila are set to receive seeds and fertilisers at no cost as part of an agriculture incentive aimed at enhancing the cultivation of Robi crops. This initiative was officially launched at a distribution programme held at the Sadar Upazila auditorium earlier today, with Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shoaib Ahmad inaugurating the event as the chief guest. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the distribution programme was presided over by Agriculture Officer Md Monir Hossain. The event saw the participation of other notable figures, including Agriculture Officers Rumman Shahriar and Afzal Hossain, as well as farmer Mehedi Hasan. This initiative is expected to provide significant support to the local farming community, encouraging better crop yields and supporting the agricultural sector in the region.
