Dhaka: Thirty-one dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals across the country during the last 24 hours till this morning.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during this period, 11 patients were hospitalized in Barishal division, nine in Chattogram division, four in Dhaka North, five in Dhaka South, and two were admitted to different hospitals in Mymensingh, as stated in a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
During the same timeframe, 32 dengue patients have been discharged from the hospitals. The total number of cases has now risen to 2,349, with 18 deaths from dengue disease reported this year. Last year, the total number of cases reached 101,214, with 575 deaths from dengue disease recorded, the statement added.
