Dhaka: Thirty adolescent girls, members of Shopno Sarothi, an initiative under BRAC’s Social Empowerment and Legal Protection programme, today called on Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed at his office in the Supreme Court.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Chief Justice engaged with the girls by giving them a patient hearing and delivering a motivational speech. The visit was part of an initiative to inspire the young members of Shopno Sarothi, who have aspirations of becoming lawyers in the future.
After their interaction with Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed, the girls were given the opportunity to explore different sections of the Supreme Court. This experience aimed to provide them with insights into the legal system and foster their ambitions to pursue careers in law.
