Dhaka: Police arrested 30 people during a special anti-crime drive in Dhaka's Mohammadpur area on Monday. Mohammadpur police conducted the operation at several crime-prone areas under the jurisdiction of Mohammadpur Police Station and arrested the 30 suspects for their alleged involvement in various offences.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, police also recovered a 7.65mm pistol, a magazine, four rounds of ammunition and 80 yaba tablets. The arrested include individuals named in regular criminal cases, those wanted under arrest warrants and people allegedly involved in various criminal activities, police said. The detainees were sent to court.
