Dhaka: Bangladesh’s Ready-Made Garment (RMG) sector has reached another milestone in its green journey, with three new USGBC-certified LEED factories added to its ranks. This development further solidifies Bangladesh’s position as the global leader in environmentally friendly garment manufacturing.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the addition of these factories brings the total number of LEED-certified factories in Bangladesh to 261. Out of these, 109 have achieved Platinum certification, 133 have been awarded Gold, and 15 have received Silver, showcasing the sector’s commitment to sustainable practices.
