3-Day Election Training Course for Police Members Inaugurated in Bagerhat

Bagerhat: A 3-day election training course for police members was inaugurated at Bagerhat Police Lines today, focusing on enhancing the skills and capabilities of the participants. Bagerhat District Superintendent of Police Md. Asaduzzaman presided over the event as the chief guest.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Md. Asaduzzaman emphasized the importance of maintaining impartiality, honesty, and professionalism during election duties to protect the people's voting rights. He highlighted that the training would be instrumental in increasing the capacity and awareness of police members, which would aid them in performing their duties effectively.

The training course has drawn participants from various ranks, including constables and inspectors. Throughout the course, attendees will engage in learning practical aspects of controlling law and order during elections, ensuring the preservation of voting rights, and performing their responsibilities impartially.

Md. Abu Russell, Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops), was also present during the inauguration, underscoring the significance of the training in the lead-up to the upcoming elections.
