Khulna: A three-day divisional science fair marking the 47th National Science and Technology Week, along with the 10th Science Olympiad, science seminar, and quiz competition, is scheduled to commence in Khulna on May 22. The events will take place at the auditorium of the Divisional Commissioner’s Office, spanning from May 22 to May 24.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the inaugural ceremony for the 47th National Science and Technology Week and the science fair is slated for 10 am on May 22. The day’s activities will include a written science quiz competition at 11:30 am, followed by the final quiz contest at 2:30 pm. The results and prize distribution will occur at 3:30 pm, with a telescope exhibition concluding the day’s events at 4 pm.
The schedule for May 23 features the Science Olympiad’s written examination starting at 10:30 am. An open discussion and question-and-answer session will take place at 2:30 pm, with results and prize distribution following at 3:30 pm. A 4-D movie bus exhibition is also planned for later in the day.
On the concluding day, May 24, a seminar entitled ‘Science and Technology for Building an Innovation-driven Bangladesh’ is planned to begin at 10 am, capping off the series of events aimed at promoting scientific knowledge and technological advancement.
