Barishal: A total of 288 dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals across the country during the past 24 hours till this morning.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during the period, 104 were hospitalized in Barishal, 39 in Chattogram, 18 in Dhaka division, 20 in Dhaka North, 35 in Dhaka South, seven in Khulna, four in Mymensingh, 18 in Rajshahi, and three were admitted to different hospitals in Rangpur, as reported by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The total number of dengue cases rose to 6,926, with 30 deaths reported this year. So far, 6,103 persons have been released from hospitals. Last year, the total number of cases rose to 1,01,214, with 575 deaths reported from dengue disease.
