24 Meritorious Students Awarded Scholarships in Natore

Natore: A total of 24 meritorious students from financially disadvantaged families attending various public universities in Natore have been awarded scholarships to support their ongoing education.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the scholarships were provided by the Public University Students' Association of Natore (PUSAN), which raised the necessary funds through the HS Foundation. The scholarship awards were announced during an online event held on the evening of August 29.

Dr. Md. Safiul Bari, Vice-Chancellor of Exim Bank Agricultural University, was the chief guest at the event, while PUSAN President Md Liton Sonar presided over the ceremony. Each scholarship recipient will receive 2,000 Taka per month, as confirmed by PUSAN sources.

During the ceremony, speakers emphasized that the initiative aims to assist students from low-income families in continuing their education. They also called upon various organizations and affluent individuals to extend financial support to students facing economic hardships.
