Dhaka: A total of 212 dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals across the country during the past 24 hours till this morning.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during this period, 110 patients were hospitalized in Barishal, 16 in Chattogram, 23 in Dhaka division, 17 in Dhaka North, 33 in Dhaka South, one in Mymensingh, and 12 were admitted to various hospitals in Khulna, as reported by a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The total number of dengue cases has now risen to 6,678, with 30 deaths reported from the disease this year. The statement further indicated that last year, the total number of cases reached 101,214, with 575 deaths attributed to dengue.
