2-Day Art Camp ‘Sthan-Kal-Patra’ Kicks Off at Mahasthangarh

Mahasthangarh: A two-day art camp titled ‘Sthan-Kal-Patra’ commenced today at Mahasthangarh, Bogura, with the objective of fostering a new Bangladesh inspired by the spirit of student-led mass movements. The initiative aims to engage artists and students in creative expression as a form of cultural and historical reflection.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Fine Arts Department of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy organized the camp, which sees participation from numerous teachers, students, and artists. The event’s goal is to harness the power of art to reflect on Bangladesh’s rich history and the role of youth in societal change.



The inaugural ceremony was graced by Professor Azharul Islam Chanchal, Dean of the Fine Arts Faculty at Dhaka University. His address highlighted the significance of art in shaping social consciousness. Begum Kamrun Nahar, Course Coordinator of the Training Department at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, attended as a special guest, emphasizing the academy’s commitment to nurturing artistic talent and cultural heritage.



Deputy Director of the Fine Arts Department, Pradyot Kumar Das, presided over the inaugural function, underscoring the importance of such collaborative artistic endeavors in promoting cultural dialogue and understanding.
