Khagrachhari: The first phase of the 'BRAC Bank Oporajeyo Alo Women's Hockey Development Programme-2026', organised by the Bangladesh Hockey Federation and sponsored by BRAC Bank, is set to begin tomorrow in Khagrachhari Stadium. The programme is designed to encourage women to take up hockey and enhance their skills in the sport.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the grassroots development programme will be conducted in several locations, including Khagrachhari, Bandarban, Rangamati, Sylhet, Netrokona, Cumilla, and Narayanganj. The Bangladesh Hockey Federation has initiated this programme to integrate women from the hill regions into the mainstream of sports.
