Dhaka: In the nationwide ongoing anti-crime crackdown, the police arrested 1,756 more crime suspects in the last 24 hours.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, 1,179 of them were captured in previous cases and pending warrants, and 577 others were arrested on various criminal charges.
One pistol, one magazine, two rounds of bullets, and two shells of bullets were seized during the operation.
