Pirojpur: The 16th National Undergraduate Mathematics Olympiad 2025 took place today at Pirojpur Science and Technology University (PRSTU).
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the event commenced at 10 a.m. with the ceremonial hoisting of the flag and the release of pigeons at the PRSTU administrative building premises. The gathering was presided over by PRSTU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md Shahidul Islam. The occasion was graced by the presence of computer scientist Prof. Dr. Mohammad Kaykobad as the chief guest.
A total of 123 students from 13 institutes across Barishal Division and Gopalganj district took part in the competition. This event was organized through a joint effort by the Bangladesh Mathematical Society and the A F Mujibur Rahman Foundation.
