Dhaka: The country reported 13 new Covid-19 cases out of 101 tests conducted in the last 24 hours till this morning. With these new cases, the total Covid-19 caseload in the country has increased to 2,051,760.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) stated that two individuals have recovered from Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 2,019,378. There have been no new deaths reported during this period, leaving the official death toll unchanged at 29,500.
The first Covid-19 case in the country was detected on March 8, 2020. The first death related to the virus occurred ten days later, on March 18, 2020.
