Dhaka: The country reported 13 more Covid-19 cases out of 101 tests conducted in the last 24 hours till this morning. With these new numbers, the total Covid-19 caseload has now reached 20,51,760, as confirmed by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, two individuals have recovered from COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 20,19,378. No deaths related to COVID-19 were reported during this period, leaving the official death toll steady at 29,500.
The initial case of the coronavirus in the country was identified on March 8, 2020. Subsequently, the first death attributed to the virus was recorded ten days later, on March 18 of the same year.
