13 July Uprising Martyrs’ Families Receive Financial Assistance in Kushtia

Kushtia: The district administration today distributed financial assistance among 13 martyrs’ families of the 2024 July Uprising. Deputy Commissioner Md. Taufiqur Rahman handed over savings certificates of Taka 10 lakh to each of the martyrs’ families at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner this afternoon.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the district administration distributed the savings certificates to the families of the martyrs in the July Uprising as a donation from the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs. The event was attended by several notable figures including student representative Mohammad Abdullah, President of Kushtia Press Club Al-Mamun Sagar, Shaheed Bablu Farazi’s son Sujan Mahmud, and Shaheed Sabuj’s wife Reshma Khatun, who spoke on the occasion.



The martyred individuals recognized during the ceremony were Jamal Uddin Sheikh, Abdus Salam, Md. Kamal Uddin, Md. Bablu Faraji, Md. Suruj Ali, Md. Usama, Md. Yusuf Sheikh, Md. Abdullah Al Mustaqin, Md. Ashraful Islam, Md. Selim Mondal, Md. Zubayer Ahmed, Alamgir Sheikh, and Md. Maruf.
