Barishal: A total of 115 dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals across the country during the past 24 hours till this morning.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during this period, 68 patients were hospitalized in Barishal division, 22 in Chattogram, eight in Dhaka North, 12 in Dhaka South, one in Khulna, one in Rajshahi, and three were admitted to different hospitals in Mymensingh, as stated in a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The total number of cases has risen to 3,972, with 23 deaths from dengue disease reported this year. Last year, the total number of cases rose to 101,214, while 575 deaths from dengue disease were reported, the statement added.
