11.1% Growth in Remittance Inflow Till October 19

Dhaka: Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year growth of 11.1 percent, reaching US$1,710 million in the first 19 days of October, according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued here today. Last year, during the same period, the country's remittance inflow was $1,539 million.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during the period from July to October 19, 2025, of the current fiscal year, expatriates sent remittances amounting to $9,295 million. This marks an increase from $8,082 million during the same period of the previous fiscal year. The growth in remittance inflow is a significant indicator of the economic contributions made by expatriates and reflects positively on the country's foreign exchange reserves.
