Dhaka: The 10th edition of the International Tradeshows related to Building and Construction, Wood and Woodworking, Interior Exterior, and Solar Products commenced on September 17, 2026, at the Expo Village, International Convention City Bashundhara in Dhaka. Organized by ASK Trade and Exhibitions Pvt Ltd and Futurex Trade and Events Pvt Ltd, with Interior Design Bangladesh (IDB) as the knowledge partner, the event is scheduled to run until September 19, 2026.
According to United News of Bangladesh, Dr. Engr. Giasuddin Haider, Director General and Additional Chief Engineer at the Housing and Building Research Institute (HBRI) Dhaka, will serve as the Chief Guest at the event. The inauguration is set for 3 pm on Thursday, September 17, 2026. Stakeholders from the Building and Construction Industry, Wood and Woodworking industry, as well as users of solar solutions, are invited to explore innovations, network, and seize business opportunities across various sectors including construction, building materials, interior solutions, solar products, woodworking machinery, and furniture supplies.
Mr. Tipu Sultan Bhuiyan, Managing Director of ASK Trade and Exhibitions Pvt Ltd, emphasized the importance of technology in addressing issues related to cost, efficiency, and eco-friendliness in the construction sector. The Bangladesh BUILDCON expo aims to tackle the primary concerns of the industry. The expo also includes the 9th edition of the Bangladesh WOOD expo 2026, presented by BEST CNC Router, which has consistently introduced global technology to local markets.
The SOLAR BANGLA Renewable Energy Expo and INTERIOR EXPO Solutions align with current trends and are integral parts of the event. Furthermore, Interior Design Bangladesh (IDB) will host a seminar titled 'ARCH*INTERIOR BRIDGE - 2026', led by Ar. N.R. Khan and Ar. Tanya Karim, on September 19 at 10 am. This seminar aims to foster connections between architecture and interior design, providing a learning platform for professionals and emerging designers.
Business visitors have the opportunity to witness a wide range of products and innovations under one roof, including adhesives and chemicals, CNC boilers, fiber and CO2 lasers, wood printing, construction equipment, power tools, solar power equipment, and many more.
