Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Lite Review

Design

The Xiaomi Note 10 Lite is a well-built premium phone that weighs 209g and has a body of 165.8 x 76.7 x 8.8 mm dimension. It features a glass front and back, as well as an aluminum frame, which makes the phone somewhat heavier but also more durable. On the rear, there is a 3D curved glass that makes the phone comfortable to grip despite its smoothness.

Additionally, there is a tiny camera hump that minimizes jitter on a flat surface. In addition, the cameras are housed within and vertically aligned, as is the Quad-LED flash. Additionally, the Note 10 Lite supports NFC for a quick and secure payment option.

The Glacier White version of the phone has a silky and smooth feel with gradient reflecting hues. Other than the Glacier White, the phone also comes in Aurora Blue, Interstellar Black, and Champagne Gold.

Display

From the front, the phone provides a premium look for its 3D curved edges on the screen’s sides. It has a 6.47-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a pixel resolution of 1080 x 2340 with ~395 ppi density. The water drop notch adds additional bezels to the phone, but it is proportionately placed on the display. The colors are stunning; they provide us with brighter hues, deep blacks, and excellent contrast.

Additionally, the display supports HDR10, which is ideal for enjoying media and watching motion pictures. Additionally, the screen is scratch-resistant even without the included screen protector due to the Gorilla Glass 5 coating on the screen.

Although the angle of the curve is not too steep, it is nevertheless susceptible to inadvertent contact. The screen is AMOLED, which means it consumes less power, and the Mi Note 10 Lite also has a dark mode to maximize battery life.

Rear Cameras

The Redmi Note 10 lite’s cameras are known for their quick focusing and smooth shots. It bestows a premium feel to the device in daily use.

The primary camera captures crisp, well-balanced images with 95 percent true-to-life color reproduction. By activating both the HDR and AI enhancement features, balanced exposure and enhanced colors are achieved. Additionally, the 48MP wide lens provides tactile crispness. Users can also capture adequate 2X images with correct color tone since it utilizes the primary sensor for hybrid zoom; however, zooming farther is unreliable and produces a lot of noise due to the lack of a telephoto lens.

The next camera is an 8MP ultrawide. It tends to overexpose at times and exhibits chromatic aberration. Users just have to manage exposure and dial it down a little to make it slightly underexposed or to 0 exposure value to correct it.

Although the Redmi Note 10 Lite only has a 5MP macro lens, it has an autofocus mechanism, which enables photographers to get a close look at tiny objects without risking a blurry picture. The 2MP depth lens is the last lens on the rear. It detects depth via the depth sensor and provides a more realistic separation of the backdrop from the subject. The primary camera can retain videos up to 4K resolution at 30 frames per second. Less video quality will improve.

Front Lens

The 16MP selfie camera is ideal for portrait pictures because it captures excellent contrast without sacrificing detail in dark areas. It also gives a realistic skin tone hue, and unlike other manufacturers’, it does not employ excessive smoothing, resulting in a more than attractive natural image. If users get dissatisfied with your look, beauty and cosmetic changes may help.

Performance and Software

The Redmi Note 10 Lite is powered by a Qualcomm SM7125 Snapdragon 720G processor and has an 8nm design. This implies that not only the display saves electricity but also the chipset. The chipset has six low-power cores and two high-performance cores. The only aspect to worry about is the device’s capacity for storage expansion. Almost certainly, this phone will be extensively used in all areas, including gaming, photography, and media. This implies it will need more capacity since users will be storing games, movies, and, more often than not, photo and video images taken with this phone. However, there are many methods to clear up your storage if it becomes full, like uploading your data to the cloud or transferring them from an external storage device.

The Redmi Note 10 Lite is powered by Android 10.0 and MIUI 11. The skin is very substantial, but it includes some interesting animations and provides a wealth of customization and options inside the program. Among them is the Game Turbo, which improves gaming capabilities by lowering latency and increasing performance. As a result, you’ll have a stress-free gaming experience.

Battery and Charging

The phone performs well in endurance tests. The battery takes almost 8 hours and 13 minutes to die after a heavy video streaming or gaming session, which is a very decent battery life for a phone with a 1080p screen.

In terms of everyday use, the Redmi Note 10 Lite’s 5020mAh battery could last a few days. Following that, it comes with a 18W fast charging, a big battery, and a little longer charging time than rivals. And, as previously mentioned, the Redmi Note 10 Lite can be completely charged in about 2 hour and 30 minutes. Due to the size of the battery, the charging time is reasonable.
