Police recovered the decomposed body of an unidentified woman from the septic tank of a house in Fatikchhari upazila of Chattogram on Thursday noon.
Jewel, a domestic help, spotted the body around 10am when he went down to clean the septic tank.
On information, police recovered the body.
Md Azharuddin, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bhujpur police station said they visited the spot and found the decomposed body of the woman aged between 32-35 inside the septic tank.
The body was sent for an autopsy, the OC added.
