US Agency for International Development (USAID) on Monday organized a daylong workshop for the members of the Diplomatic Correspondents Association, Bangladesh (DCAB).
Former Foreign Secretary Md. Touhid Hossain and former Ambassador M. Humayun Kabir conducted the daylong session titled “Rise in Journalism” under the theme “Constructive Reporting & Countering Misinformation” as part of USAID’s media training for Bangladeshi journalists.
The workshop was followed by a certificate giving ceremony. DCAB members joined the workshop in two phases. The first phase workshop for the DCAB members was held in September this year.
USAID has been organizing these workshops for journalists across Bangladesh since December 2020.
