Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday expressed deep shock at the death of former MP and Gaibandha district’s Palashbari upazila’s ex-AL president Alhaj Tofazzal Hossain Sarker.
Hasina, also the President of Awami League, prayed for the eternal salvation of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to his bereaved family members.
Tofazzal breathed his last in the morning at the age of 75.
He left behind wife, two daughters, and a host of relatives, colleagues and well-wishers to mourn his deaths.
AL General Secretary and Highways and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader also expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Tofazzal Hossain.
