A motorcyclist was killed and another injured after a covered van hit a motorbike in Oxygen rail crossing area of Chattogram city on Sunday night.
The deceased was identified as Enayet Ullah Shah, 30, son of Nazim Uddin, hailing from South Madarsha village in Hathazari upazila.
Sadiqur Rahman, Inspector of Panchlaish Police Station (Investigation) said Enayet Ullah died on the spot and pillion rider Murad sustained injuries when a covered van hit Enayet’s motorcycle from behind.
Murad is currently undergoing treatment at Chattogram Medical College and Hospital, he said.
